Workforce Development & Training

The Center of Higher Learning offers a wide variety of short-term, non-academic training classes to Stennis and the surrounding community.  These classes include Microsoft Office computer classes, information technology (IT) certification courses, federal acquisition and contract management classes, and more.

The Center of Higher Learning has the unique flexibility to contract for specialized non-academic technical training from universities and qualified consulting firms from across the United States and offer these classes to all organizations and employees at the Stennis Space Center and surrounding community.  This capability allows the employees of Stennis to remain current in their fields, gain new knowledge in highly complex and specialized areas, and allows organizations to remain technologically competitive.

In addition, CHL can develop and deliver customized training classes on a wide variety of topics. Please contact the CHL offices to find out about available courses or request a learning program tailored to fit individual needs.
